Biography

The Bruce of Windsor Project was formed by its founder Bruce David Loeffert who is the songwriter, singer, and guitarist for the band. All songs on both Last of Windsor (released dec. 2007) and Rainbow Over The Rock (released Sept. 2009) were written and arranged by Bruce. The musicians on both cds are all friends and former band members of bands that Bruce played in over the years at one time or another. Interesting fact is that despite all the different players on both cds who have all worked with Bruce at one time or another, none of them played together with Bruce at the same time in any specific band. This fact makes this whole project very interesting. Bruce started working as a professional musician / guitarist at the young age of 16 years old at which time he was playing High School Dances, College Concerts and Nightclubs. At the age of 19 he left home and went on the road playing shows at Hotel Resorts, Concerts, and Nightclubs along the eastern seaboard. The bands he played in worked as far west as Kentucky, down south to Key West Florida, up north to Montreal Canada, and to the island of Saint Thomas in the US Virigin Island territories.

At this time the band has now produced two cds and is looking forward to performing live shows at concerts and large forums. Bruce is actively searching for booking agents and management to organize a tour whereby The Bruce of Windsor Project could be an opening act on a nationwide concert tour....
