The Capitalist Youth play what they call "friends-in-a-room rock." Filled with mob vocals and singalongs, handclaps and tambourines, banjo and glockenspiel duets, acoustic guitar, instruments found in basements, and lyrically driven songs that struggle with love and religion, and music that draws on the strength of friends and community. The current touring band is a six-piece multi-instrumental group set in the northeast, centered around Boston, Philadelphia and Brooklyn. Watch for a living room show near you.
