The Doomsday Device

"The Doomsday Device" is former singer/songwriter of "Genaro" from Edinburgh based Benbecula Records. "Genaro" were receiving a lot of interest from major labels in the U.K and being played on shows like BBS radio 1's Breezeblock show, The Vic Galloway Show and The Jim Gellatly Show. However a lot of this attention was because Steve McConnell of Benbecula Records had put forward "Doomsday Device" tracks as "Genaro" tracks and although "Genaro went on to record some excellent music the original demo sent to Benbecula Records was what attracted the attention originally.
Realizing the songwriting prowess and experimentation with sound Benbecula saw the great potential in the original rough demo.
"The Doomsday Device" has been known to become almost hermit like for months at a time recording song after song, experimenting both with sound and hallucinagenics with the aim of putting to tape that most sacred of soundwaves, the trance inducing, spirit raising melodic masterpiece that takes you to the higher realms.
Now "The Doomsday Device" has perfected his craft delivering the most awe inspiring dreamscape soundwaves with timeless, unforgettable melodies and emotionally charged vocals taking the listener on a journey to the unknown, from the most euphoric moments of enlightenment to the darkest recesses of the mind. "The Doomsday Device" puts his hallucinagenic experiences to tape with a vividness and elegance like no other act on earth. Call his music whatever genre you like but there's no denying the mastery of his craft
