BIOGRAPHY
The Doubleclicks are a comedy/nerd/folk band. They write and sing songs about Dungeons and Dragons, beatboxing, and lots and lots of heartbreak. The band is made up of two sisters: Angela (vocals) and Aubrey (cello), who live in Portland, Oregon.
In 2011, the Doubleclicks made waves on the Internet with a video for their song “This Fantasy World.” The video was animated by Brad Jonas, and is the band’s biggest splash yet. In 2011, the band also undertook a 6-month project in which they wrote a song every week and posted a performance of it on YouTube.
The Doubleclicks have performed with: Paul and Storm, Wil Wheaton, Marian Call, Molly Lewis, Vixy and Tony, Kirby Krackle, Hank Green as well as indie musicians in the Portland scene, both comedic and “normal.” They have played at conventions and festivals including the inaugural GeekGirlCon, DotConFest, Orycon, Norwescon, GameStorm, the Seattle Browncoats’ GeekFest and two “w00tstock presents” shows. The band is a member organization of the Portland Geek Council of Commerce and Culture.
