BIOGRAPHY
THE GOOD MS. PADGETT (www.thegoodmspadgett.com) is the name given Anna Padgett by her Brooklyn, New York preschool music students. The Good Ms. Padgett sings songs and stories that are wise, joyful, and never condescending, enjoyed by children and parents alike. “Think of her as the Pied Piper, but with a guitar. That’s how much kids love Brooklyn’s Anna Padgett… Your little one will fall under the singer’s folksy/funky spell.” (The New York Post)
Her self-titled first release (2009) chronicles life with a young child in 18 playful, quirky songs that seamlessly incorporate both a parent’s and child’s experience - songs that are “sweet, soothing, and… fun to sing along with.” (theopinionatedparent.com) A second full-length, "The Good Ms. Padgett Sings The Little Red Hen and Other Stories" (2012), presents four classic stories in unique musical interpretations that are funny, original, earnest and whimsical; “… perfect for preschool story times. Refreshing and completely entertaining.” (Kids Home Library) The Good Ms. Padgett is accompanied by her husband, Miggy Littleton, while her daughter Penelope leads young audiences in movement and song.
