The Little German Band of State College, Pennsylvania was founded more than 50 years ago in 1961, and is structured in the style typical of brass bands from the region surrounding Munich, Germany. The band’s repertoire features German polkas, waltzes, marches, authentic German folk songs plus a mix of American dance and novelty tunes. Much of the repertoire consists of original arrangements written specifically for The Little German Band.
