The Lonely Souls

Biography

Ladies and gents, The Lonely Souls were born from a desire to play music different from the norm and feeling the need for passionate songs and storytelling that seems to be missing these days.

Echoing the spirit of The Faces, The Band and The Rolling Stones they play a heady brew of homegrown Rock, Blues, Soul and Americana voodoo spice.

The band are; Paul Clinton - lead vocals acoustic guitars. Mark Clinton - vocals, lead and slide guitars. Keiran McCusker - rhythm guitar. Mark Thomson - vocals, bass guitar and harps. Craig Wales - drums and percussion.

The Lonely Souls formed in the summer of 2008 and released their debut album “Move Your Bones “in March of 2009.

They hail from the west coast of Scotland from sunny Bellshill. Comparisons have been made to Steve Earle, The Band, Gomez, Alabama 3, Ryan Adams and Led Zep.

The band has recently opened the No Mean City festival in Glasgow and has played a sold out gig in the ABC 2. They have been playing material throughout Scotland and are currently writing finishing their second album - soon to be available on CD baby :)
