In the 1990’s The Luck of Eden Hall got their start with a 7” on Limited Potential Records (USA) and releasing the “Belladonna Marmalade” CD and several EP’s on Walrus Records (USA). These efforts received positive reviews and the band appeared in the New Line Cinema film “The Day My Parents Ran Away”, toured the mid-west and gigged regularly on the Chicago scene. TLoEH released the albums “Subterrene” in 2007 and “When The Clock Starts To Wake Up We Go To Sleep” in 2009. In 2010 the band’s version of “Love Is Only Sleeping” was included on Fruits de Mer Records (UK) compilation “A Phase We’re Going Through”, which was named “Album of the Year” in Prog Magazine.
2011 brought more releases on FdM Records, including a limited edition colored vinyl 7” EP which immediately sold out. Their version of “Lucifer Sam” was included on the cover-mount CD in Classic Rock Magazine and their epic two volume CD set “Butterfly Revolutions” was included on “Best of 2011” lists around the world. 2012 began with a track on FdM’s tribute to “The Pretty Things” classic album “S.F. Sorrow Is Born”, followed by more sold out releases including the band’s “Alligators Eat Gumdrops” CD, and two FdM releases; TLoEH’s “Crystal Ship” EP and a tribute to The Beatles White Album.
This year Butterfly Revolutions was released as a limited edition double LP on Headspin Records (Netherlands). Shindig Magazine hosted a free give away contest for the band and TLoEH ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to Tour the UK, opening for The Pretty Things in London. The Luck of Eden Hall is currently preparing to release their Victoria Moon limited edition CD on September 20th, 2013.
