This first release from the Michigan based Mayfields has something for everyone to enjoy. For those listeners that enjoy wide ranges of musical genres from country to blues to americana to rock to jazz and everything in between, you will find a gem in this album for you to enjoy.
Members of The Mayfields include rtists from well-known regional and local Michigan musicians coming from Bethlehem Rose, The Voice, Mystic Shake, Jupiter Plume, The Jonnies and Frog and The Beeftones. There are three lead singer/songwriters in The Mayfields so a show is always interesting, fresh and takes people by surprise.
Formed in 2006, The Mayfields have frequented many venues in the Michigan music scene for several years developing music. Well crafted and thoughtful songs come from this group.
Technically, The Mayfields released an EP in 2007 which is out-of-print and was only available at live shows. If you were lucky enough to get one of those discs, then hold on to it.
