Consisting of: Adam Burchfield (Guitar, Vocals) Nick Gaitan (Upright Bass, Vocals) Bart Maloney (Pedal & Stand -up Steel Guitars) , Snit Fitzpatrick ( Currently Filling the Drum Chair). The Octanes play mostly original material, heavily rooted in hillbilly, while revving up the traditional sound with driving rhythms, and a big guitar sound. The Octanes have shared shows with the likes of: Wanda Jackson, Southern Culture On The Skids, Candye Kane, The Nekromantix, The Phantom Rockers, Pep Torres, Mack Stevens, and The Chop Tops, just to name a few. Adam Burchfield has toured the U.S. and Europe with regional and International artists (Sonny Boy Terry, Coal, ) and has shared the stage with the likes of Billy Gibbons, Chris Duarte,and Gary Primich. Nick Gaitan has toured the United States with one of Houston's most successful bands, Los Skarnales, and is currently a member of Billy Joe Shaver's Band, performing with The Octanes, as well as his own project , The Umbrella Man. Kevin "Snit" Fitzpatrick has been a fixture in the roots music community for a number of years, as one of the founding members of The Hollisters, as well as playing guitar in his own combo. Rounding out the group on pedal - steel guitar is Bart Maloney. Bringing in a touch of western swing and straight up honkey-tonk to the mix!
