BIOGRAPHY

The Orchestra of The Longfellow Chorus, Charles Kaufmann, founder and artistic director, is the instrumental ensemble of The Longfellow Chorus, a non-profit organization based in Portland, Maine, with a mission to perform and record musical settings of the poetry of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and related music. These musicians have been praised as being among the finest professional orchestra musicans in New England, most of them living and working in Maine.
