The Peacemakers Band

Biography

Tim Otto is a veteran Singer/Songwriter who has been published in four catalogs in three countries. Tim is the former lead singer of three bands: The Surf Cowboys (USA), The Vaqueros & The Peacemakers Band. Previous to this, Tim performed and traveled as a solo artist and was also in a duo with his close friend Chris Charles in Portland, Oregon.

In 1983, Otto was the last recording artist to be produced by Buddy Holly's Producer, Norman Petty before his death in Lubbock, Texas in 1984.
In 1990, Tim started his own music publishing company, Almost Paradise Music, which was named after Petty's famous song from the pre-Holly
days, "Almost Paradise." It now contains over 250 songs.

In 2010, Tim's song, "Vietnam Foriegn Correspondent" was used on Bear Family Records 13 CD collection titled: "Next Stop Is Vietnam." Tim was joined
on the track (recorded in 2003 at Twang Studios) by The Peacemakers Band.

After writing songs for over thirty years, Otto is releasing his first solo single now in 2011. Tim has not released a single since his 1987 release on
a 45 rpm single: "The Final Showdown" on Troubadour Records. This time, the single will only be available on the downloads that cdbaby distributes
to. Look for it now...it's called: "Loved A Girl So Much" and is considered to be one of Tim Otto's best!
