Biography

The Pollocks started as a joke, or was it a dare? We can't be certain at this point... a fleeting memory of things falling into place is all that remains. Around 2005 - 06 we had more songs than sense and decided that we were just as entitled to that million dollars as anybody else. It's not really a complicated process- you turn on the machines, plug in and give up your ghost, or your soul (whichever matters most). Then again, simplicity is a luxury: there's sickness, breakups, jealousy, hangovers, weather, the job, madness... So through thick and thinner, we cranked out "Last Tender Leaves", "Pardon The Witches", "Wine Diamonds" and "French Girl"- flushing money down the toilet and reveling in the useless genius of it all. We play shows when we can. We reflect. The songs keep piling up...
