The Remarkable 1 has been involved with the UK Hip Hop scene since the 1980's. As an active vocalist in Brighton's first hardcore rap crew
DELIVERANCE, who went onto release a sting of underground independent rap records in the early to mid 90s'. That experience first took him overseas
into Europe to tour, mainly in Switzerland & Germany, under the banner of BRITCORE music (as the Europeans described British Hardcore Hip Hop).
He then later went onto form the heavy hard hitting HUNDREDTH MONKEY crew, alongside BANDOG from KILLA INSTINCT. The lads then went onto
to reclaim the stages of Europe with their highly charged energetic positive Hip Hop. They later went onto merge with the live funk band SONS OF THE
TRIBE.... forming the mighty MONKEY SONS.... who again, toured constantly, performing their hybrid of popular socio-conscious party/rocking music...
with many releases to their name, the most popular being their 'Ha Ha' single, in which The Remarkable 1's infectious hook got many people singing along in
unison.
