Biography

The Sign was founded in 1999 by Joey Dee, a true Tasmanian artist/singer/songwriter/actor and Pall, American guitarist/vocalist/engineer/producer.
The original musical style of The Sign is drawn from rock, blues, pop and folk styles from Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Roger Glover, to The Pretenders, Chrissie Amphlett & The Divinyls, XTC Joan Baez etc. Over many character building years this female/male combination have evolved to their present form. Constantly transcending, The Sign uses 12 string and 6 string acoustic guitars as well as studio musicians to present their ever changing sound.
Great Vocals, excellent harmonies and compelling lyrics make The Sign a must see and hear.
The Sign have won awards from the Australian Songwriters Association, Billboard Songwriting Contest and National Songwriters Contest as well as a place on Australia's "X-Factor" TV show.
The Sign have toured and continue to tour Australia, Japan and the US. The UK and Eastern Europe is next on the tour schedule for 2010.
