Biography

Todd Coyle has been performing in and around the eastern panhandle of West Virginia for over 30 years. He’s, also, played in such exotic locales as the Bahamas, Texas and Los Angeles.

Todd has worked in a wide variety of bands (folk, blues, pop, jazz and country) as a guitarist, bassist, singer, producer and sound man.

Mostly, though, he’s a singer/song writer who is comfortable in front of audiences large and small.

He’s released three CD’s on his own label. And was finalist with two songs in Bill Board Magazine’s 2003 annual song writing contest.

He ran open mics for over 16 years and was a featured artist at the 2005 Mountain Stage Annual Songwriting Festival, and, also opened for Catfish Hodge.

He’s been mentioned and reviewed in Music Monthly magazine, and featured in many articles in most local newspapers.

He’s played before President Clinton at an Earth Day event at Harpers Ferry National Park.

Heavily influenced by early 70”s “classic folk rock”, delta blues, Appalachian style acoustic playing and singer/songwriters of all styles from the last hundred years.

His music appeals to a wide variety of audiences of all ages, educational and cultural backgrounds.

He’s a member of SAW (Songwriter’s Association of Washington) and Folk Alliance.

Todd is also active in many causes such as Save Darfur and does fund raisers for many local, regional, national and international causes.

He’s also a partner in Earth Vibe Productions & Events.
