BIOGRAPHY
THIRD ROOT is a hip-hop duo that consists of Charles Peters (Easy Lee of MoJoe) and Marco Cervantes (MexicanStepGrandfather). Peters is an accomplished poet, author and MC, and Cervantes is a producer, MC and Ph.D. who teaches at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Both artists are integral parts of the San Antonio music scene in their own right, but have joined forces to craft a socially and culturally conscious LP titled Stand For Something. The album features production from DJ Ninja, Greg G, Hits, Felony Muzik, Reggie Coby, and mic.DAGGER. It also features high profile guest appearances from Big Rube of the Dungeon Family and stic.man of Dead Prez.
