Tim Harris

Biography

Tim Harris’ catchy piano-based pop/rock tunes will get stuck in your head…

Having been brought up on a diet of 70’s vinyl (ELO, Supertramp, Little River Band etc), Harris had his head between the speakers when the other boys were kicking footballs.

In 2007 Harris recorded his debut album ‘Starlight Avenue’ with producer David Carr (Antiskeptic, Taxiride and Kiss Chasy). The album, filled with gorgeous melodies and sweeping dynamics, was launched to a crowd of over 300 fans.

2007 also saw Harris and long-time friend Steve Kopandy form 1979 Records – a label to help promote quality, indie music. The pair then set off on a mini world tour, playing shows in Sydney, London, Berlin, Detroit and Vancouver.
