BIOGRAPHY
Heavily influenced by the big rock orchestras of the 1960's, as well as the more avant-garde art rock aesthetics of the psychedelic era, I'm a self-taught songwriter with a taste for rich arrangements and experimental song structures. I'm a big fan of jazz and classical music and like to incorporate these elements into my work. I tend to go for big arrangements, with an emphasis on unique sound combinations and inventive percussion. My biggest influences are Phil Spector and The Beach Boys, but if I had to pick out more recent influences I'd probably go with Vampire Weekend and Gotye.
