It was a cold December winter night in California (or a Fall night in Minnesota) in 1993, when a young singer/songwriter Andy Zamenes first decided to join forces with a few hungry musicians in a garage somewhere in Redwood City (What do you mean, where's Redwood City?). It was this meeting that spawned the power pop rock experience that is Tinman™.
Although the San Francisco-based band is currently on hiatus, Zamenes- also known as the Disney Family's iParenting Media Award-winning children's recording artist "Andy Z", is still writing songs for the band as well as for his solo singer/songwriter projects and plans to release a third Tinman album when the opportunity presents itself.
Until then, please do explore the two existing releases featuring raw, but potent versions of the songs that purvey the essence of the Tinman experience. Stand-out songs include "Princess" (in Top 100 on Garageband.com charts for two years), "Thinking Out Loud" (stand out track on the "Trax" album), and "Dana" (Andy's ode to Dana Scully).
