Biography

Tommy Lee brooks (tlee) is a self taught musician, having played guitar,bass, and keyboards all over the US for over 30 years. He's worked with some well know artists and some very talented unknowns.

Tommy Lee opened at Capitol Center for Merle Haggard with a local North Va. band. He toured with the late Big Al Downing. It was an honor to meet him and perform on the same stage. Tlee was among Mel Tillis, Freddie Fender and many others.

Tommy lee also picked and played with Billy Jo Shaver (CMA Songwriter Hall of Fame) from Nashville to NY..He even lived in His basement for about 3 months during some down time in Nashville. Tlee backed up Jeannie C Riley,Bobby Goldsboro,Del Shannon, Carl Perkins to name just a few over the years.

He was awarded Musician of The Year 1994 by ASE -Atlanta Society of Entertainers. He's played everything from bluegrass to country,blues,jazz,gospel..pretty much everything but classical music.

Tommy Lee and Iris Brooks have been writing songs since they met in 2000. Iris was wrote a song election called "Who Is Our President?" which was featured on Fox News. They found a mutual love for music and for each other. They were mairred in 2007.

Iris began playing piano-organ in her church when she was 12 years old & held that postion for a long time. She always had a prolific side & is constantly writing and creating lyrics & songs. It can be from real life situations, such as 911 or just for the sake of a challenge to create a great lyric -no matter the idea behind it. Songwriting is just a passion of her soul.

Over the years she's won awards for her overall abilty as a songwriter..Nashville ICMA Award 2001, King Eagle Award
Overall Talent 2000, Hollywood Jubilee TV Award, Sacred Circle Award Winning lyric for Child Abuse to name a few.

Iris received a very nice letter of appreciation from the Mayor of New York City..as a thank you for "Terror Of New York".

Iris has a deep compassion for others-has done Missionary work in Mexico and the USA. She loves to work and write for special needs and causes, in addition to her other writing. She attributes her inner strength & any talent to God. He gets all glory, honor and praise.

They have dedicated their lives now to writing gospel music. Tommy Lee plays with an anointed group called Three Nails. Despite health challenges they're both active in their church. Tommy Lee plays piano, guitar and sings. iris sings on the praise team. To write songs which bring honor and glory to God is a wonderful feeling.
