Tom Rasely

Tom Rasely is a fingerstyle guitarist and composer as well as a church musician. He describes his music as a neo-romantic statement of melody, melodically strong and harmonically attractive--in other words, worth listening to again and again!

Tom has appeared on over 50 recording projects, many featuring his original instrumental music. His music has been heard on “The Folk Sampler”, “Echoes”, “The Guitar Shop”, Muzak, and also in the film documentary “Saving Newburgh”.

Tom has written several books on guitar technique, including “The Chord Chart Guitar Method” (self-published), and “Types & Uses of the Capo” (Mel Bay).

As a performer, Tom has performed in 26 states and parts of Canada; has performed with several regional symphony orchestras as guest soloist; and has performed twice at the White House.
