BIOGRAPHY
Tony Floyd Kenna is the Bass player (and occasional Guitarist) and one of the songwriters in Wanman & Floyd,, Maggies Farm and Good Intentions. Good Intentions reformed in 2010 after 25 years. A new single 'SACRED GROUND' was issued to critical acclaim on July 22nd 2010.
Tony has issued four Solo CD EPs over the last few years -, New Songs Vol. 1, in May 2010. THE KISS OF LIFE – SPECIAL EDITION E.P., in November 2010. 'Don’t Worry ‘bout Me I’m O.K., in May 2011. Self titled 'TFK' in July 2011. Tony plays everything himself on these solo tracks.
Back in the late seventies thru’ to the late eighties Tony was busy as a band member with Good Intentions, Maggies Farm, Face To Face, The Gravediggers and lots more. In Face To Face Tony co-wrote with Jean O’Sullivan and their Remastered ‘Dreams’ E.P. was issued in October 2009. Behind the scenes he worked in sound engineering and served on the council of IASC (the Irish songwriters association of the time).
Maggies Farm has regenerated also and their charity CD, ALISON, was issued on Jan 31st. 2011. The special edition includes Blues Shoes and Don't Follow Me as well as Alison.
'Wanman & Floyd' was born out of Maggies Farm with two albums getting recent release. Light Side Of The Dark in November2011 and Dark Side Of The Night in February 2012. A third is being worked on.
Out of the vast number of recent collaborations the CD 'Collaborations -Vol 1' was issued in March 2012.
June 2012 sees the issue here on CD Baby of 'Mama Said' featuring the great Jed McConkey on guitar.
