Biography

Tony has written and recorded since 1979,
In 1984 he met Kathy Chinnick (Watson) and Paul Koszyca, in Adelaide, South Australia,
The band was named Mudmen.Resulting in prolific writing and a few gigs.
Paul left the band a year or so later, while Tony and Kathy kept writing and recording.
1991 They worked on a country/western swing reportoire, as 'Saltbush and the Timewasters' untill 1994,
Released "Tony Nirta Mudmen" in 1995.
1997 They released "Love Saltbush" adding some of those early Mudmen songs.
The album "Path" , was recorded between '98 - '99
"Mysterious" was recorded between 1999 - 2005
'Speechless' was an ongoing project of Instrumental music completed 2004
2006 - '07 moved to Victoria AU and Tony created the Residents CD.
In 2011 released "Silk Road" with guitarist composer Sunyata, and drummer Simon Salter,
playing bass guitars, also Engineer/ Producer.
Currently formulating the next album of songs, writing and re-arranging earlier compositions.
