Tony Noe

New York City Modern Rock singer/songwriter, and producer, Tony Noe (pronounced No-ee) is often compared to some of the great Classic Rock artists of our time. Largely influenced by the strong lyrics, sounds and sense of melodic purpose of these great musicians, his music is mature and introspective in nature.

His latest CD release “Chasing Better Days” is an expression of various common themes on life. It is supported by eclectic sounds ranging from Rock, Roots, Americana, Country, Orchestral, Pop, etc. The overall music, however, remains stylistically influenced by the Classic Rock artists of Noe's psyche. His critically acclaimed debut release “One Way or The Other” has been said to showcase his style and versatility with straight ahead rockers along with soulful and folksy ballads about life, love and relationships.

Currently he has begun to write the material for his next two releases. One is an uplifting sequel to "Chasing Better Days", while the other is made up of various instrumental and orchestrated pieces.

Noe's songs have received radio airplay in the U.S., Holland, Japan, Germany, Australia, Canada and Ireland, often broadcast side by side with songs by major label artists.

His music has appeared in TV shows for MTV, The History Channel, Oxygen Channel, Style Network, Animal Planet and HGTV. In addition, the film community has also expressed interest in his songs.

Though he has more often appeared in solo/acoustic settings, Tony Noe & The Others (his full band) rocked several venues including the once renowned Joyous Lake nightclub in Woodstock, NY on a WDST-FM live radio broadcast and webcast. He was also selected & performed as one of six New Folk Showcase winners at The New Jersey Folk Festival, as a solo artist.

Additional credits include projects by Albert Collins, Tom Jones, Jellyfish, Larry McCray, The Knack, Maxi Priest, Vinnie Zummo, 46bliss, MD Ransom, as well as live performance with the Absolute Ensemble.

Tony periodically creates visual art and is also co-founder of the wildly successful Quiet Party (www.quietparty.com), an international nightclub event where people socialize by writing notes instead of talking. This event has received critical acclaim and has been featured in news programs and print articles throughout the world.

If you look closely, you might even catch his film acting debut in Buddy Giovinazzo's "Combat Shock".
