Trevor R Todd

Trevor R Todd- Sevenfootfetish Trevor R Todd, West Texas born musician began his music career in Seattle Washington where his military family had settled. Early on in Seattle he founded such acts as Jedi Mind Trip, and Sleepy Hollow. A regular at famous Emerald City haunts in the early 90s such as Karen's Cafe and The OK Hotel, it was not uncommon to catch his different acts performing at such as The Offramp, Rock Candy, The Crocodile Cafe and The OK Hotel itself. By '94 the record deals had already all been given out and Trevor struck out on the road. Settling for short times in Las Vegas, New Orleans, Chicago, and New York among others. He finally settled in between Sacramento and The Bay Area in Northern California. He took a break from music and started a family. In 2000 he re-emerged fronting the Bay Area act Bucknuckle. When Bucknuckle fell apart a year later, he joined forces with Sacramento's CallBox playing bass. In 2005 he left Callbox for The Sacramento act Tribe and returned to his rightful place as a frontman. His haunting baritone had gained an experienced cadence. Tribe proved too heavy and he struck out on his solo career a year later. On 7-7-07 He released "Scathing Indictment of The Righteous" The 15 song album proved an epic release. With such amazing tracks as "Creepy Jesus Figurine" and "Crooked Mile", The album immediatly sold and Trevor found himself in LA and New York promoting his new release. Scathing had been released on his independent label "Sevenfootfetish Records". In the interest of being able to perform and properly continue to promote Scathing, Trevor founded Sevenfootfetish in November of 2007. With Steve Aubry on the Drums, Solo artist Luke Martin on Bass, and Trevor on lead guitar as well as vocals, an amazing act was born. Bobby Campbell eventually took over on drums and Billy Rainy(Frank Hannon Band)came on for a stint as lead guitarist. In August of 2008, Trevor was killed in a terrible car wreck in Sacramento. The first responding paramedics were able to revive him via paddle and cpr, and Trevor began a two month coma in Mercy San Juan Hospital in Citrus Heights CA. Having sustained a debilitating head injury, a broken back, and multiple punture lacerations, it appeared that was all she wrote for Sevenfootfetish, Sevenfootfetish records, and Trevor R Todd's career. Within a week from being released from the hospital, he, and the band were back on stage. Though the seemingly miraculous return took it's toll on him physically and mentally, he persevered and took Sevenfootfetish on national tour, recorded "Opiates For The Masses" and came through virtually unscathed. In October of 2009, Trevor released "The Undoing". An independent film he wrote, produced, starred in, and released to sell out crowds and rave reviews. In October of 2011 Trevor released a new EP,"Bi-Polar Roller Coaster". Though the members of Sevenfootfetish have changed since then, Trevor R Todd continues to tour, make films and generally inspire his fan base. His true tale of survival is a message to us all, to endure our afflictions with impossibly good attitudes and bring our craft to the masses reguardless of what obstacles present themselves. Be sure to listen to "Scathing Indictment Of The Righteous" by Trevor R Todd, and "Opiates For The Masses" by Sevenfootfetish. Be sure to watch for "Bi-Polar Roller Coaster" His new solo album in late 2011. You'll be glad you did. Rick Derris Publicist....
