Many consider Trina as a “Throw-Back” from the old days of Classic Hollywood when performers were entertainers with multiple talents and a dazzling personality to match. This exotic and beautiful singer, actress, and producer is a rare diamond that shines like a Star. Trina is no stranger to the entertainment industry and has already accomplished many of her goals. Trina was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri where she studied Voice Performance and Theater at the UMKC Conservatory of Music. She has appeared on such shows like The Grammy's, Oprah, the MTV Music Video Awards, the BET Awards, and the American Music Awards to name a few, and has also graced the stage with iconic entertainers ranging from Barbra Streisand to MC Hammer to Marilyn Manson to the Family Stone.
As a recording artist, Trina was featured on MC Hammer's "You Can't Touch This" album and is currently writing and co-producing her debut album, titled "Gemini Twin" featuring rock and funk-infused tunes like "In Your Face", "Delicious", the self-titiled "Gemini Twin" and soulful, smoothed-out ballads like "Missing You", "To Know Love" and the recently released singles "OverDue" and "In Your Face" now available on CD Baby.
As a producer, Trina recently co-founded Gemini Twin Productions, a production company comprised of independent writers, artists, musicians and producers focused on a singular goal: the creation of imaginative, high-quality music, stories and shows for Film/TV, publishing and live performances. Trina self-produced and stars in the inaugural production, "Queen of the Night: Remembering Whitney", a 90-Minute Live Entertainment show that brings the top selling hits of the late Whitney Houston to the stage. Trina takes the audience on an emotional and sing-sational roller-coaster, transporting the essence of Whitney Houston to the stage for a night of exhilarating and gripping performances. Not one to rest, Trina also performs around the globe with celebrity band "The Family Stone" as a lead vocalist. The band features Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees "Jerry Martini, Cynthia Robinson and Greg Errico" of "Sly and the Family Stone".
When at home, Trina co-stars nightly in a talent-driven broadway-style production in Las Vegas titled "Vegas! The Show" inside the Saxe Theater located at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.
Trina also has many film, television and theater credits under her belt as well. Appearing in projects like “Anchorman” starring Will Ferraro, “Breakin All The Rules” starring Jamie Foxx, “Bringing Down The House” starring Queen Latifah and Steve Martin, and the Off-Broadway theater productions of “Dreamgirls”, Ain't Misbehavin", Jesus Christ Superstar and “The Wiz”.
