An artist devoted to evolving in her craft, songwriting takes center stage for Trisha Leone.
Raised in the Colorado Rockies where long winters and short summers meant lots of hard work and perseverance, Trisha relentlessly pursued a life built around music. When this cowgirl was not plowing snow or riding horses, Trisha was completing a Master Certificate of Songwriting from Berklee School of Music, as well as loading equipment, setting up and playing bass for the next band gig.
Trisha’s music wastes no time picking you up along the side of the road and having heart to heart conversations spoken as if riding shotgun in the front seat. With songs that travel through time, following lines on a map of life experiences, she takes you on a musical road trip you won’t want to end.
In 2009 she made the big move to Nashville to immerse herself in the rich musical environment of Tennessee. These days, instead of working on the ranch, Trisha spends her time making leather guitar straps and accessories for her business “Strapped for Cash”, as well as helping her husband, Mickey Sandora, build guitar amplifiers for their company Sandora Amplification and of course, writing songs.
Trisha’s goal is: “To create songs that have an emotional impact on people. Songs that move them and that come from a place of truth. More than anything, I just want to write great songs.”
