BIOGRAPHY
Tru-L a.k.a "Truest Realist Undisputed Lyricist" was born on June 8 in Boston Massachusetts. Growing up in the neighborhood of Mattapan and being around other local artist’s from the area Tru-L decided he wanted to become an artist himself. At the age of fourteen he then hit the local music scene by featuring on mixtapes from Boston dj’s. With the the backing of his mother two years later in 2003 Tru-L released his first solo mixtape "Mattapan Is The Streets".
In 2004 Tru-L released his second solo mixtape "New England Patriot". Shortly after he then started traveling state to state to showcase his talent and sell his mixtapes. Having the roll of a leader he then formed his own team "Fatal Family" with three other Boston artist's. Joining him on stage while opening up shows for mainstream artist’s one being "Diplomat Recording Artist Juelz Santana". That same night Tru-L caught the ears of "Diplomat Recording Artist Hell Rell" and in 2007 was alble to released his third mixtape "Tha General" hosted by his then mentor Hell Rell himself. Becoming a protege of the Diplomat family Tru-L still managed to keep his original team by his side.
2008 was the release of his fourth solo mixtape "Closed Mouth’s Dont Get Fed Hosted By J Saki" shortly after Tru-L was arrested. Serving 18 months in the Suffolk County House of Corrections. Jail couldn't stop this young MC he was focus enough until it was his time for freedom again. Writing songs made his time go by fast and before he knew it he had wrote 75 songs and finally step foot out the door.
Since Tru-L has been home he released his fifth solo mixtape "X-clu-sive Classics & Unreleased Tracks" and now is a CEO of his own company where every member such as himself, Choziah, Bruce Aaron, A.k Jones, Jay'R Da Prince, & Doeh Boii Craziie they're all signed to his independent record label as "Fatal Family Recording Artist's" but the company roster also consist of three more members Hypeman Miggy,Dj Magic City, & Youngr Beatz. With already releasing his 6th solo mixtape this year titled "Better Late Then Never" 2012 Tru-L will be moving forward with building his clothing line, releasing a team project titled Extended Family, & releasing his 7th solo project "Tha General 2" (More Hurt Feelingz) Mixtape/Album Cosigned By Def Jam Recording Artist Juelz Santana Hosted By Dj Skullator Summer 2012.
