Tyler Clark

Biography

Tyler Clark's music is part swamp blues, part country, and a heaping handful of 70s rock- drawing from the American canon created by artists like Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, and The Band as well as the great English bands of the 60s and 70s- including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd.
Now in his mid 20’s, he has called Seattle home for the past four years and cut his musical teeth in the legendary city playing with a handful of local bands including Boxcar Rebellion. His discography includes: one full-length solo disc, Open Grave Blues (2007); an EP with Boxcar Rebellion; and lead guitar duties on several other releases.
His latest record features great musicians from the Northwest playing a wide range of songs from introspective ballads to guitar hero rockers. It was recorded at Pacific Studios in Tacoma, WA in the summer of 2009 and reflects a more mature, studied musician in the beginning of his prime as a songwriter and performer.
