Biography

Bandola led THE LUCY SHOW, late 80's post-punk-John Peel
chamioned-quartet who, with their singles, New Message,
A Million Things, & Ephemeral (this is no heaven), topped the
North American college charts - the last two were Radio1
singles of the week - and toured with the likes of New Order
REM & Cocteau Twins until the early 90's...now back
since 2003 with TYPEWRITER - 3 albums supplying
all the melody, moodiness, magic & mayhem popular music
craves. A mix of experimental & sentimental styles lit by a
cartoon cosmic fuse. MOJO mag called Bandola "...a
Rundgrenesque renaissance man" & The Big Takeover magazine
says: "Bandola holds almost every song up to atmospheric
heights with his shimmering guitar and enchanted vocals..."

Waves of heaven & hysteria married to Bandola's psychedelic and/or romantic pop guitars, drums, keyboards & voices - the usual beautiful onslaught of musical kitchen sinks thrown in for another enlightening and uplifting mad tea-party.

Typewriter's 2nd album - a surreal collection, and a collage of strange force & psychedelia with acoustics & electronics. A punk progressive statement thing.

Skeleton Key
2003
Wildly eclectic collection of avant-pop - spliced and welded together, using chaos & beauty. A surreal barrage of beats, ballads, samples, guitars, and singing, all united by bewitching chords and unfailing melodies. Majestic.
