Uncle Frank is the spectacular alter ego of rock-star Frank Benbini.
Fronting an awesome live show where the Jungle Book meets Burt Bacharach and the Blockheads.
“The Ideal Food For Love” recorded in 2005, was originally arranged and concieved by songwriter/producer Naim Cortazzi who approached Frank Benbini to be the voice of the project. Frank agreed and chipped in with some of his own songs to complete the album.
Since the independent release of Uncle Franks’ cult debut albumhave been rolling with some of the most influential names in rock and roll.
To name a few, Beverley Knight, Plan B, Happy Mondays, Sinead O’Conner, Ali Campbell and the icing on the cake… their life-long hero, Prince.
Indecently, Frank has been a full time member of New York’s Fun Lovin’ Criminals for the last decade, touring the planet and trail blazing among the best.
2012 sees Uncle Frank return with a career-defining album:
“Smiles For Miles” and full production live show, which is jam-packed with gags, funky dancing and tear jerking original songs.
“The live show” captures Frank at his raw best with his sensational Leicester All-Star band.
