Unforgettable Big Band is a traditional 17 piece big band based in South Central Pennsylvania. Formed in 2000, the band has gathered a strong regional following. Unforgettable performs a regular series of big band dances in York, Pennsylvania. Additionally, we've performed throughout the region, with appearances in Baltimore, Lancaster, Gettysburg, and in Reinerton/Tower City, birthplace of the legendary Les Brown, as the feature band for the Centennial Les Brown Festival.
Unforgettable performs the lasting music of the golden age of the big bands, as well as contemporary selections from groups such as the Brian Setzer Orchestra and Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. Our vocalists, Jim Scofield and Tonia Grubb cover a wide range that includes selections made famous by Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Helen Trent, Nat King Cole, Doris Day and many more.
Unforgettable Big Band takes pride in preserving the music of the big bands, and bringing the excitement of live swing music to modern audiences.
