BIOGRAPHY
Venti Petrov Internationally acclaimed Dancer, Medalist, Choreographer and Ballet Master worked with some of the greatest artists of our time. His brilliant technique and partnering skills place him in high demand. He has danced with stars, principals and soloists from major world companies such as Paris
Opera Ballet, New York Citiy Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, and Ballet Tfheater.... After graduating from the State Choreographic Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria and winning a medal at the New York International Ballet Competition he chose to extend his training at the New York Conservatory Of Dance under
the guidance of Vladimir Dokoudovsky who has been dedicated to conserve the purity of the Olga Preobrajenska method and legacy.
Nationwide he performed as a guest artist. He has been engaged as resident choreographer and regular company member: Ballet Arizona, Tulsa Ballet and
Omaha Ballet Theater. He danced with Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Nouveau Chamber Ballet, Connecticut Ballet.... as artistic co-director of the Lumière Ballet, Petrov brings the coveted opportunity to perform original works and be partnerd by him. In 2001, he collaborated with
Russian composer and concert pianist, Michael Zeiger and released his first Ballet CD,
"Venti's Class". In 2009 a second CD "Venti's Clas' vol.2, has been released in
collaboration with critically acclaimed pianist, Ferdy Tumakaka.
