National and international award winner, Venti Petrov is a graduate of The National Choreographic Institute of Sofia, Bulgaria. Upon his arrival in New York City, he continued his studies with Vladimir Dokoudovsky and became an American citizen in 2001. Venti Petrov worked with Suzanne Farrell (New York City Ballet) and Alexander Vetrov (Bolshoi Ballet). He has performed in over 20 states. Petrov premiered his own original fully staged story ballets - El Cid (2011) and Dear Nadezhda (2012) in Manhattan. He released three CDs for ballet classes with pianists, Michael Zeiger, Ferdy Tumakaka and Olga Merson, a master class DVD with Oksana Maslova and a book, Dear Nadezhda. Venti’s Class Vol.4 is the second CD that Venti Petrov and Olga Merson have collaborated on.
