Vertigo Blue TM: (Vertigo Blue) is Michael Naus Jr. who is an American synthesizer and vocal based solo artist and composer in the format of Electropop and Electronica. Based near Houston, Texas, Vertigo Blue has shared the stage in an opening performance role for The Georgia Satellites, Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus), Nitzer Ebb, John Lefler (of Dashboard Confessional), Bad Manners, Technical Itch, Dayhota, The Azoic and a few others including his own headlining performances in around 400 shows throughout the United States.
Vertigo Blue has also performed for assistance in fundraiser events including Wounded Warriors (Injured Military), Indonesian Tsunami Relief (2004), Hurricane Ike, Children's Cancer Care, Autism and for Children with Developmental Disabilities as well as providing music for Corporate and Texas State Government business. In 2006 three of Vertigo Blue's songs from his "Area 51" album were featured in and independent film, READ ON by Jeff Faulkinbury. In 2006, Vertigo Blue's song "TUNDRA" (from his Area 51 album) was listed no. 8 on the top ten local tracks of ten years on Houston radio 90.1FM KPFT SoundAwake program hosted by Jeffrey Thames.
Vertigo Blue gives thanks to The Recording Academy (The Grammys) for his song, "Area 51" (from his Area 51 album) being listed on The Entry List for Nominations in the 50th Annual Grammy Awards and "U.F.O. Abduction" (from his Evolution album) listed on The Entry List for Nominations in the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
