Vertigo Blue (Vertigo Blue TM) - Michael J. Naus Jr. is an American synthesizer and vocal based solo artist who's compositions are focused in the Electro Pop and Electronica music genre. Three songs (Glowing In Black Mist, On My Own and Intensity) from the first album by Vertigo Blue, "Area 51" were featured in Jeff Faulkinbury's independent film "READ ON" in 2006. Other songs from the album obtained both radio and club rotation throughout the world including the songs "Area 51" and "TUNDRA", which was listed number eight on the top ten songs of ten years of local artists on Houston radio 90.1FM KPFT SoundAwake Program. The title track, "Area 51", lead to Vertigo Blue receiving five Revolutions Music Awards including Best Electronica Album in 2009 and Vertigo Blue extends a thank you to The Recording Academy for listing the song, "Area 51" on the Entry List for Nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. Vertigo Blue's music was featured on numerous Electronica compilations as well as for radio and business music and sound effects for corporate presentations. In 2011 Vertigo Blue released his second album, "Evolution" featuring eight synthesizer and vocal driven electro-pop / electronica tracks. The March 15, 2011 Review of the "Evolution" album by The Houston Press: "Evolution is phenominal work!" Vertigo Blue is arriving on 300 live shows that span where he is based near Houston, Texas throughout the U.S. and is scheduled to open for A Flock Of Seagulls in May of 2011. Vertigo Blue has also opened for Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus and who played The Cold One in Twilight Eclipse movie), Nitzer Ebb, Technical Itch and others in the electronic music scene.
