Voide (Dave Almgren) is a Swedish artist, composer and producer of electronic music.

Born 1970 in the Stockholm area of Sweden, Dave's artistic interests started around 1984 when he in his teens purchased his first synthesizer. Equipped with the new opportunities of owning a device that he could play on he started creating sounds and noises and have not stopped yet.

In 1986 Dave started a band with U. Johansson composing electronic pop music. Sound Machine, as the name was, did have a concert in the northern suburbs of Stockholm in May 1987. The band reformed in 1988 adding two other members and changed the name to Sine Qua Non (S.Q.N). Shortly there after one member left and the band was renamed again to Repulse. The new band was focused on synth and EBM type music with bands like Depeche Mode, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb and DAF.

Repulse performed live at Ungdomens Hus in Uppsala in 1988 as an opening act to Mobile Homes. The singer in the band had an accident 1989 and the band split up.

Dave and U. Johansson formed ULDA in 1990 composing experimental/psychedelic electronic music. From 1992 to 2002 ULDA released four albums where Dave was the producer. ULDA was part of the shutdown but before that their music was available for hardcopy purchases online.

In 2006 Dave founded his solo project Voide.

With Voide he started to produce songs with his own and unique electronic music style, influenced by the early electronic music pioneers.
In 2007 Dave met Suzie Electric at MySpace finding they shared many musical references and started working together. Late December 2008 they released the single titled 'Love'.
In 2009 ULDA was reformed and the new name is Little Red Cottage (LRC) and one single has been released titled 'I Go Easy' featuring Australian vocalist Pixieguts.
With the 2010 release of the "Red turns to Blue" album several tracks featured Pixieguts warm voice that is a perfect match to the Voide sound.

Dave is actively composing and producing music in his home studio in the northern area of Stockholm. Several of his works have been licensed for sync usage in films, commercials and TV-shows.
