W Koscielniak writes / composes instrumental pieces of music. His style produces easy to listen to pop, perhaps with some occasional introduction of soft rock elements, as well as parts leaning toward classical music. His interest in everything classical, going back to the 17th century, and in British and American rock spans over a fairly long period of time. Deciding to write somewhere in the middle between those two fulfills his ambitions and delivers the best to the listeners at this moment. Usually written for piano, it is common to hear more than twenty instruments in the final released version. The creative process often starts with a simple melody that may relate to the place the action is taking in, and then back in the studio a fuller sounding and more vigorous piece is developed. All aspects of arrangement, numerous revisions, mixing, mastering, and preparation for release are worked on. With more and more experience gained, the time to produce a single can be as short as 3-4 weeks, and on rare occasions even shorter. The releases are all for digital download only and no CDs or vinyl are made. This however may change in the future if there is need for that. So far, a collection of singles is available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and cdbaby.com as well as other distribution places in the US and abroad. Prices are all uniform either $0.99 or $1.29 per single.
The issue whether this one-man band will ever perform live is an open one, and is not considered seriously at this time. Putting together a band to handle twenty or so instruments live, would be quite a challenge and is far outside our near term dreams. On the other hand, who knows! Just do not shut this idea down.
All available titles can be seen at cdbaby.com; you can also find short descriptions how the individual pieces came about. Please come by to check for new singles in the coming weeks and a debut album coming very soon.
Outside of activities described above, he enjoys making HD videos, takes pictures of everything interesting, travels in California, along the Pacific Coast, Hawaii, and other states, reads lots of books, and spends too much time in social networks.
Enjoy our music. Love. Thank you.
