Walking Upright is a New York City based rock band. They are a six member group with diverse musical backgrounds whose common ground and purpose is songwriting. In addition to having a full roster of top-notch musicians, the band has an absolute star in company. Sure to be a heavyweight in our time, Jess Hamaker and her sublime vocal performances will captivate audiences. One listen will prove this band has the talent level and writing ability to be major recording artists.
The band has one independently released EP, Patchwork. While collecting fans and interest by having regular shows in the Tri-State area, the band is constantly writing material in preparation for the next album and beyond.
Lately, the band has been fortunate enough to work with Mr. Richie Cannata, who in addition to being a world class musician, has produced for Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Billy Joel to name a few.
