WILSON KOZAC is Arizona's newest original classical rock duo. A very unique sound, combining an 11-string acoustic rhythm guitar with a 6 string electric lead guitar. Their story telling style is very refreshing!
Wilson Kozac is made up of Rick Wilson, a veteran lead guitar player and singer with over 20 years of live experience here in the valley. Rick has played with the bands "Allegany Sand & Slag", "Ambience" and "Legacy" all over the Valley of the Sun. He has thrilled fans at Legend City, Big Surf, Turf Paradise, Mr.' Lucky's and Toolies just to name a few.
The other half of Wilson Kozac is Jonathan Kozac, A 20 year songwriter, singer and possibly the world's only 11-string guitar player. Jonathan has recorded here in town at Soundtech studios, Reiter studios, Porcupine studios and at Sound Emporium in Nashville Tenn. He has played live on local cable, been written about in the local paper and channel 12 news did a personal profile as one of the valley's up and coming artists. He was awarded Honorable Mention for two songs in the Billboard International Song Contest and released a CD on an indie label entitled MILL AVENUE in 2004.
