After playing lead guitar in cover bands, for more years than I care to admit, I wanted to go on my own to discover my own voice in music. That discovery has lead to "Wolfgang Carter". I write, produce and record all my own songs and perform all instruments including guitars, bass, drums and vocals. I currently have two CD's and 2 EP's in the works so make sure to stay tuned for what's to come!
I would describe my music as an updated take on the classic/blues rock sound. I like to think of my music as something familiar but new all at the same time. I am not trying to change the musical landscape, just adding my style and sound to rock music genre.
All music and life influence me. Besides being an artist I am a huge music fan. Some of my favorite artists include AC/DC, Depeche Mode, Elvis Costello, Fugazi, INXS, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The New York Dolls, Nirvana, Prince, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Replacements, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, The The and Thin Lizzy.
