BIOGRAPHY
Tony Murnahan is currently cultivating his solo works. Tony comes from a background of nearly two decades of indie, experimental, math / prog bands which is responsible for his sound, style, ideas, etc… Tony's solo, acoustic guitar work is similar to the style of Kaki King, Michael hedges, and Egberto Gismonti. His guitar and bass playing is reminiscent of Don Caballero, Breadwinner, and Faraquet. Murnahan's drumming is angular, linear, and similar to artists as Hella, Breadwinner, Don Caballero, and The Kickass. You'll find that Murnahan momentarily harvests sounds that reflect his thoughts and emotions. He aims to create music that is deep, intense, cunning, and organic.
