Xulinos

Biography

Xulinos offers the listener music with form, layers and texture. He sculpts each composition with a pleasant blending of acoustic and electronic sounds that invoke images and emotions. The spiritual, emotional and healing value of sound and music has been explored in many areas of medicine and science.

The artists has felt a compelling need to help Tibetans; young children exiled from their native homeland of Tibet. 50% of the proceeds from the sale of "Mind Objects & Other Emotions" have gone to the children at the Tibetan Children’s Villages in India. Many young children at the villages are orphaned or needy and were sent to India or even escaped on their own traveling from their homeland of Tibet, across the Himalayan mountain range, into India. The artist has expressed a deep sense of gratitude to be able to offer his creative work for the benefit of these children in need and feels a profound humility knowing that the Dalai Lama Himself has expressed His appreciation for the artist’s work and best wishes for the success of this project.

The other 50% of the proceeds of the first CD has gone to the Drepung Gomang Monastery in South India. Each year the monastery sends a tour group of 6-10 Tibetan Buddhist Monks to the United States as a cultural exchange tour, raising money for food and medicine for the monastery. Like the first CD sales, all proceeds from the sale of the second CD downloads will go to the Tibetan Children's Villages and the Drepung Gomang Monastery in South India for food and medicine for the Tibetan Monks there.
