On an evening in February 2008, Mike Bombon sat in confidence with Todd Yates and Phil Silva and proposed a plan to dissolve their band project at the time. The three had come to a point where an escape was needed from circumstances outside of their control. Never afraid of wonderfully drastic resort, and constantly scheming, Mike followed up one bold proposition with another... Start a new project, based on totally different ideals, and even more technical in songwriting, performance, and an experienced understanding of the local music scene.
The plan was to take all new songs, not a total departure from what they loved to play, just more focused, matured and visceral. They wouldn't tell anyone, and no one would know this was happening until the boys were ready to let those who were sharp enough to look where they would least expect it, in on their new secret.
