Author Inspires Readers to Trust Themselves and Continue to Grow through Short Stories and Poetry
Yanatha Desouvre believes everyone can make the right decisions in their lives if they focus on the positive in life. Through short stories and poetry infused with “a dash of hope and a pinch of spirituality” in his new audiobook, Walk Through this Journey: Volume One.
Desouvre reminds his listeners that “every aspect of life is about learning, growing and trusting in ourselves.”
Whether telling the coming-of-age story using a conversation between a young person and his older self in “Can We Talk,” or sharing the tale of a young man and his father who grow closer after facing danger together in “Walk Through this Journey,” Desouvre reminds readers that “it doesn’t matter whether we are facing good or bad, we need to view everything as a learning experience and believe that we will pull through it if we have patience and keep our mind balanced.”
Yanatha, as he aspires to inspire, believes there is endless potential in everyone with pursuing their dreams and accomplishing their goals in life. He's been a part of three major South Florida Local Author Showcases one in Boca Raton, FL, Delray Beach, FL and the 10th Annual Delray Public Library Local Author showcase. In the past three years he's been hand selected to perform at three major Spoken Word Poetry Showcases that featured the best Spoken Word Poets of Florida, in 2007 at the Improv Comedy Club in Downtown West Palm Beach, FL and at Java D'Lites in Coral Springs, Fl. He was part of the 1st ever SeaEscape Variety show and the first ever Comedy and Poetry showcase in Downtown Delray Beach, FL. He’s also the co-executive producer of the album that successfully blends hip-hop, rock, r&b, soul and the art of spoken word poetry entitled “JuSill Presents: Street Poetry hosted by Cierra “The Midday” Goddess” available through the Apple iTunes store.
Yanatha Desouvre was born in Haiti and grew up in Brooklyn and Philadelphia. He resides in West Palm Beach, Fla. and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in marketing. In addition to his constant writing and continued studies, Desouvre founded and manages the ALL Or Nothing (A.O.N.) Group, a company that provides technical and entertainment consultation at no charge to those who need assistance to pursue their goals. His work with A.O.N. is a testament to Desouvre’s confidence in the endless potential he finds in everyone and his resolve that they should have every opportunity to reach for their dreams. He is also a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc.
