Yemiko Palmer was exposed to music at an early age. Her Father being a minister of music for every church they attended put her voice to use as soon as she was able to carry a tune. At the age of 4 Yemiko sang her first solo with a choir. The congregation was trying to figure out where the voice was coming from because she was so small and hardly able to be seen over the choir stand. After the service, people expressed their amazement at how such a big voice came out of someone so small. From that day forward a singer was born. However, the worshiper you hear today took some time to emerge.
After experiencing many life changing encounters, Yemiko moved to New Jersey from DC. The move changed her life forever and her relationship with God. Receiving the understanding that you can't give another what you don't have yourself , along with a new baby daughter Yemiko started going back to church again. In doing so she began to understand that she had more than a gift and ability to sing. Yemiko realized she had the ability to introduce others to the God she loved so much through song.
Yemiko is a messenger for this hour for the Kingdom of God to His creation.
Recently signed to the Enhakkore Music Group production company in Atlanta, Ga. Yemiko has a debut single release titled “Let it Go”. Her debut CD titled “My Life”, My Worship is scheduled for release in the spring of 2013.
