BIOGRAPHY
Georg Beck-Millan aka @beckbeat is an Austrian drummer & composer.
Born into a musical family and having received formal training on piano and drums as a kid, he earned his spurs with his first band, around the age of 15.
These early years allowed him to experiment freely with drumming, singing & songwriting as well as recording demos and layouts.
With his dedication and passion for music and the love of drumming he established himself as an in-demand session-musician, after finishing his drum-studies at the Vienna Conservatory in 2003.
Between 2001 and 2011 , his credits include James Burton (guitar player of Elvis Presley), Louie Austen, Dzhian & Kamien, Ewald Pfleger (Opus), The M.A.R.S Allstars, Ramon, Big John & The Vienna Soul Society, to name a few.
Throughout touring and recording as a sideman he stayed busy writing and producing his own music, which lead to the most recent EP, "Hashtag". The album features a selection of tunes from 2011/2012 and represents his abilities as a composer/songwriter and drummer.
