Biography

Richard Rummery aka ftprints11 (footprintseleven) is a unique singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Australia. He has released four albums on his own November Media label. Based in Armidale, NSW, Rummery is a also a philosopher and author and an award-winning radio show producer. ftprints11 is a vehicle for his prodigious and exrtemely diverse musicmaking. His songs and music are unique poprock gems, all carefully crafted. Rummery's music represents both the ‘old school’ and the newer electronica, dance, soul, blues and other progressive pop influences. Influenced by Bowie, Zappa and Peter Gabriel he creates his own synthesis of the modern and timeless - flexrock.

The UNSOUND & THUMP twin CD set was released to critical acclaim in 2006. The single ‘I can’t escape love’ was released on 3000 records in the US receiving valuable airplay and featured in Laguna Beach reality TV show. Violet Millions (2009) and Reflexion (2010) are out now. A new album is in the works to be called The Kissing Tree.

Crossing and mixing between genres, Rummery reveals more of his deft pop hand here. Burn is an instant dancefloor hit, while the thoughtful balladic numbers are radio-friendly but also gutsy. Ulhuru - a driving groover - and Blue are standouts. Cool stuff
