Grouse is the work of Dublin, Ireland native, Ronan Carroll. It is an outlet for his electronic, dub and ambient influenced productions.
Carroll has released two albums under the name Grouse: 2005's, 'We Want To Be Loved' and 2012's 'Heads'.
An EP of 'Heads' remixes by Carroll himself and others appeared in early 2014. ('Heads Reworked')
The music of Grouse is atmospheric and cinematic, a place where guitars, violins and brass instruments blend with loops, samples and synthesizers.
It has been described as, "rewardingly dreamy" (Smother Magazine), "other worldly, hypnotic", (Hot Press), containing "beautifully crafted moments". (Turn On Tune In)
Formed in 2013, the 6 piece+ Grouse live band bring the music of Grouse to a live audience.
