haiku: Next best thing to silence..
haiku is a Danish indie band melting rock and ambient music. Thoughtful music with lots of atmosphere.

Haiku biography:
Haiku started as a solo project for Henrik Hytteballe, releasing the album haiku nov. 2006. Today haiku is a duo.

First album HAIKU is about finding inner resources after a big change in life - coming back and taking part in life.

Second album MONDO is a magnificent rock concept album recorded and played by a complete rock band. It is both poetic and dramatic; many fine British rock bands inspire the music from Pink Floyd, Simple Minds to Editors and Bloc Party.
Freddy Albrektsen produced the album, and the production is sharp and distinctive, making a perfect balance between music and vocal.
A Danish Newspaper gave mondo a 5 star review and described the album this way: “Definitely a fabulously sounding album, which you can only go into raptures about.“

Third album FLOW is more than one hour of ambient electronica and meditative music; perfect for yoga, healing, qui gong, massage and awareness.
Many professionals use haiku in their work; one of them says: “haiku is like a key that opens up and connects the inner, quietly reflective and the exterior, vibrating beat, creating a crescendo of pleasure to unfold!”
