ozone333 got his start as DJ Ozone in the Boston nightclub scene. His first DJ position was at a nightclub called "Choices" in a very seedy part of the city of Somerville Massachusetts. By the age of 20 he had spun music at all of the major Boston area night clubs. DJ ozone loved dance music and would regularly do house parties, events and promotions. His extensive sound system and light show was completely paid for by the work he did as a DJ Entertainer in the Boston club scene.
At 24 DJ ozone moved to California to further his career as a DJ Entertainer but met a woman who would soon become his wife. At 28 DJ Ozone got engaged and set out to get a "Real Job" based on a suggestion from his future spouse. DJ Ozone quit the entertainment business and became an IBEW Union Electrician. DJ Ozone was missing the life he had in the clubs, the thumping music, and the nightlife so he built a huge computer music studio and workstation in his home and began creating electronic dance music as a way to vent the frustrations of having that "Real Job" that he wasn't so happy with. DJ Ozone decided to change his stage name to "ozone333" as a way to put closure to the DJ aspect and recreate himself as an artist.
In 2004 ozone333 electronic music was discovered by a music scout for MTV's television shows on MySpace. MTV currently plays ozone333 music in their TV shows and royalties are paid by Broadcast Music Incorporated [BMI] to the ozone333 account.
